We at Westville Christian Church support institutions of higher learning within our denomination. We contribute to the Week of Compassion offering for disaster relief and to the Reconciliation offering for improving race relations. Through Church World Service, we participate in the Blankets and Tools offering and we often donate to support Heifer Project International. The Men of our church sponsor an annual musical event to raise money to send special needs campers to a Christian camp.

Locally, we offer a church scholarship and a scholarship from the Women's Group for graduating seniors. We collect food and other needed items for Hands Across Mathews and social services. We donate school supplies and funds for field trips for students who attend Lee-Jackson and Thomas Hunter schools. The Boys and Girls Club receives school supplies and sports equipment from us. We also give to the Christmas Store and senior center and adopt a needy family for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas through social services.

Other missions include donations to the fire department, rescue squad, after prom party, Backpack program and Hands Across Mathews in addition to items for cancer patients.

Our mission efforts are always seeking new areas for outreach.
